2020 was left behind. Phew! We never seem to live a year as foggy as this. However, amid the chaos blown by the COVID-19 pandemic, every person on the planet had to stop, in many cases literally, and rethink their own destiny, methods, and values. And now, what is the prophetic message for 2021?

Daily Bread for a Happy New Year
Prophetic Message for 2021
And the prophetic message for 2021 is: Receive today your daily bread! I want to share with you how the Word of God will bring you responsibility, your attitude of worship will guarantee you courage, and prayer without ceasing will guide you in assertive decisions in the year 2021.
This is the basic recipe, which is already prepared for you today. In these last days before Jesus’ return, he is still on the throne. And with him, we will certainly live our successful days as we receive our daily bread today.
Think with me of Joshua, the man who succeeded Moses in leading the people of Israel. Coming from Egypt to the promised land, Moses was the leader who opened the Red Sea, provided the people with bread and meat, water, and protection during 40 years of crisis in the desert. He was exceptionally respected as a prophet. After all, God spared no signs and miracles to prove that Moses was his personal representative at that time (Deut 34:10-12).
And at the age of 120, Moses transferred his responsibility to Joshua (Deut 31:1-3). There were more than 4 decades of mentoring, battles, and loyalty. That young apprentice had already become elderly, as did his 85-year-old friend Caleb (Josh 14:7-10). We can learn from Joshua the recipe for his success in winning the new position, the new land, and a new time.
First Word for 2021: Responsibility [1/3]
Every responsibility you will face in the new year will be according to the grace that God entrusts to you today. Anything new brings challenges and uncertainties. And with them the need to deal with something unprecedented and, at the same time, in a responsible way.
Therefore, the more sensitive you are to the voice of the Holy Spirit, the faster your success will be for new achievements. So, as you prioritize seeking the Lord, less effort will be required on your part. And the supernatural, amazing miracles, will bring solutions to your problems even before they present themselves to you. Remember that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and he adds no sorrow with it (Prov 10:22).
That was how Joshua conquered about 30 cities, achieving great success. He consulted the Lord, remembered his instructions, shared the strategy with his people. And the result was victory after victory. God’s Word is always the first ingredient for us to be responsible. The challenges ahead do not matter. You will be responsible for what God has entrusted to you. And he will guarantee you progress and success through his Word.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Joshua 1:8 / Ps 1:2; 119:97-100
Second Word for 2021: Courage [2/3]
The presence of God, as well as the people he brings to your life, will guarantee your courage. This close relationship, with God and the people with whom he presents you, will be necessary for each advance. Alone, in our soul, we feel weak and fearful. What if I am not able, and if the resources are not enough, and if I fail.
So the next ingredient will be worship. The Bible says that we were created for the praise of God’s glory (Eph. 1:3-14). And a fundamental way to glorify God is through sincere and spiritual worship. Good songs in your intimacy will help you to enjoy boldness in the Spirit, especially the daily proclamation of Psalms. Participating in corporate moments of worship, such as church meetings, and singing to the Lord with others will be a boost to your life.
Like Joshua, the greatest heroes of the faith won impossible battles with less effort and more worship. It is really impressive how we are encouraged by the Lord’s presence when we worship Him (Ps 8:2 / Mt 21:16). Again, circumstances do not matter. When you worship, your arms and legs will become stronger, walls will fall, paths will open and the new will become a reality in your life.
Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess.
Joshua 1:11 / Josh 3:2; Ps 18; Ps 144
Third Word for 2021: Decision [3/3]
And finally, you will be assertive in your decisions when considering each subject in prayer. The new will come into your life by making prayerful decisions. You will not respond to situations, but to God’s directions for your life. And he himself will take care to give you the right answers (Prov 16:1).
Did you know that God takes every subject you pray to him seriously? It doesn’t matter if it’s something small or big, private or public. The course of each subject changes from the moment you have the attitude to share it with God. Before your prayer, it belongs to chance. After your prayer, God’s will, good, pleasant, and perfect, will prevail (Rom 12:2 / Eph 3:20).
The only time Joshua failed to make a decision was when he made a peace agreement with the Gibeonites without consulting the Lord (Josh 9:14-15). He did not pray about that matter. And the result was not good. But in your case, when you consider each subject in prayer, trusting the details in the Lord’s hands and waiting patiently, you will see his care. So all your choices will be aligned with the heart of God. And you will be successful.
And they answered Joshua, “All that you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.
Joshua 1:16 / Ps 5:3
Conclusion
Despite everything that 2020 brought unexpected, you and I won and we are moving forward. Many people died this year, there were many losses, and so many businesses were closed. But we are over this year and we are advancing just like Joshua to the land of prosperity and peace with God.
So, more than worrying about so many uncertainties that the new year offers, be aware of what the Lord has to communicate to you. Consider his Word in your spirit and believe it. Commit to worship the Lord at all times. And pray without ceasing. In 2021 there will certainly be difficulties. And this is where we will see the faithfulness of our God guaranteeing us success.
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.
Joshua 1:5
Prayer: God, I thank you for your love and faithfulness. I ask You please to help me in this new year to be attentive to your words, worshiping, and praying at all times. I believe that this way I will have a new year of great blessings, advancement, and success for your glory, in Christ Jesus. Amen.
