Faith that Overcomes Impossibles
The Bible says that God gave each person a measure of faith. Regardless of your religious or social background, you have faith. Even if you don’t believe that you are a person of faith, it is in there. One day the angel Gabriel was sent by God to visit Mary in Nazareth. She was troubled, and the way she responded to that situation made all the difference for her and all of us.
And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Luke 1:38
Faith in God, Not Faith in Faith
First, Mary affirms her faith in the Lord – I am a servant of the Lord. See that it is not enough to have faith. It is necessary to apply your faith to the right target. It is not enough just to be optimistic, to trust people or even your own ability. The only faith that generates excellent results is faith in God.
We see this when the prophet Jonah is sent to Nineveh. After trying to flee in the opposite direction, he finally announces the Lord’s message to those people. And the Ninevites believed in the Lord. That little detail makes all the difference. The prophet informs us that God repented of the promise of destruction. The only reason was: the Ninevites believed in God.
And the people of Nineveh believed God. They called for a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them.
Jonah 3:5
Faith Expressed in Words and Actions
Then, Mary expresses her faith appropriately, with sincerity and honor. And it requires words – let it be to me according to your word. The power of agreement that makes impossibles come true is manifested in our words.
That’s why you cannot preach the Gospel and use words only if necessary. The apostle Paul explains to us that with the heart one believes for justice, and with the mouth, one confesses for salvation. All Scripture instructs us on the relationship of faith, initiated and maintained with spoken words.
But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.
Deuteronomy 30:14
Faith Ensures Mission Success
Finally, Mary demonstrates her faith in the Lord with the right attitude, and Gabriel’s mission was accomplished – and the angel departed from her! There are opportunities for you, angels sent in your behalf, miracles waiting for you. All of this will come about through your correct attitude of faith.
The Bible says that two people cannot move forward together if they are not in agreement (Amos 3:3). This means that when you believe and align with God’s purpose for your life, your success will be complete. When the angel gets the proper response of faith he will leave you, for if you do your part God will certainly do his. But without faith, it is impossible to please God.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
Conclusion
There will be no impossibles. Your best future will come into existence from the moment you put your faith in God and express it consistently. If God can do all things without exception, and He surely can, what will stop you from living your best future? Nothing.
Therefore, your life will be blessed with peace, satisfaction, and true prosperity from the moment you decide by faith to live God’s purpose for your life. And the result will be the best possible for you, your family and everyone around you.
For nothing will be impossible with God.

Prayer: God, I recognize that there is nothing impossible for You. I choose to trade my current way of life for a life of faith in the Lord, in keeping with his plans for me. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that I will live the best of the Lord every day of my life, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
