Man is the most fascinating being in all creation. There is a lot of false information and conclusions as to who that really is. This post looks at how man appeared on earth, his challenges and weaknesses as well as the hope of finally living as a winner.

Man, a creature of God
God formed man on the sixth day of creation. That does not mean he was a last minute idea. But it shows that God left the best for the end. Before he prepared the environment. Then he created what is the Grand Finale of his masterpiece.
‘then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.’
Genesis 2:7
This creation reported in the book of Genesis shows us a process full of order and intelligence at the origin of everything in the universe. Certainly there was no chance or luck. There was planning, definition of steps, lots of creative power and intentional action.
Thus, with each advance in creation God perceived and declared that what he had created was good. After completing his work, he formed the man and concluded that everything had been very good.
Image and likeness of God

male and female he created them.’
Genesis 1:27
The idea of a monkey man walking silly looking for food is far from the reality of Adam, the first man. And if you still have doubts about the so-called primitive human being, it is good to reflect on it. What has been taught in schools and textbooks is not the truth in this matter.
Before, the man was created a living being. Full of dignity and ability. He has applied his knowledge to solving problems over the years. So the technology has grown exponentially – and continues to be improved. But man has never been less intelligent than he is today. There is even a tendency toward dependence on technology and less use of human intelligence.
This shows how the ability to think, reason, and make intelligent decisions sets it apart from other living things. The Bible says that God purposely did so. The man was generated for a relationship with God. Think about it! The human being was made intelligent, moral, and social to live in communion with God.
‘And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” ‘
Genesis 1:28
Man is Good

Another interesting question about the origin of man is that he was considered good by God. The man in his essence is good, a being full of virtues, beautiful and powerful when he is really true to his origin.
‘And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. ‘
Genesis 1:31
Later, however, Jesus claimed that men are evil. And this is due to the issue that occurred between creation and our current reality. When a man lives outside his original purpose he is in trouble, but the Creator is always ready for reconciliation.
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Jesus, Matthew 7:11
In other words, a man who does not live in communion with God is not, in fact, a human being in his full potential. God created him like himself to constantly relate to Him. But if a man chooses to distance himself from the reality of who God is, he becomes like any other animal.
The Problem of Sin

Sin is like a wall. Built from the strength and knowledge of man, it causes separation. Wrong choices and, consequently, disastrous results appear. The Bible says that death arose as a consequence of sin. Before that no one had ever died.
‘And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”‘
Genesis 2:16-17
This is one of the biggest mistakes in the theory of evolution. It states, for example, that dinosaurs lived and died long before man appeared on earth. But in fact death arose only after the first sin, committed by Adam and Eve. They disobeyed an order from God. And there was for the first time separation between God and mankind. Only then did death arise in the world.
This does not mean that man is bad. But his decision to move away from his original purpose is very bad. The consequence of a man ignoring God and taking control is the worst possible. The best option is to give that control to God in a personal relationship with him.
The New Man in Christ

Although man has made so many bad choices, since from the beginning God has always been and is willing to start over. He sent his son Jesus so that through him the whole creation would be reconciled to himself. Man is the main target of this love plan.
Now, take your step and embrace the opportunity to be a real man. A worthy citizen, a faithful husband, a loving father, a mentor who inspires, a winner. This represents God. Your image and likeness will manifest when you decide to live intentionally, accept the processes and believe that God’s Word is always the best for your life and family. So, choose courageously the successful life for which you were made for.
Prayer for a man: God, I thank you for your eternal love and for the special way you created me. I choose to live a successful life for which I was created. I repent from all my failures and I receive your forgiveness for my life. And I ask You to help me live in communion with your Holy Spirit from now on, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
What is the Holy Spirit saying to you?
