Easter of The Lord

The Easter story dates back to about a millennium BC. After the people of Israel suffered 430 years of slavery in Egypt, the Lord sends Moses to deliver his people and celebrate a feast in the desert. They saw the wonders and power of God in Egypt and walked under divine protection towards the land that was promised to them.

This celebration marked both the beginning of a new Hebrew calendar and a new era for all of humanity. Whenever you want to understand what’s going on in the world, you need to look at Israel. The liberation of the people of Israel from Egypt points to the salvation of all mankind.

To Your Family

The Bible says that since sin entered the world through disobedience, the consequences were sin, suffering and death. When Jesus came into the world to die as the Son of God, innocent and willingly, his blood paid for the redemption of all families on earth.

Thus many prophecies were fulfilled and today we can enjoy communion with God, peace and joy with his Holy Spirit. But only those who believe in Jesus enjoy the benefits of their lives. See below how to express your faith in Jesus in a practical way with your family from this holiday:

1- This is The Easter of The Lord

Jesus is our Passover. He is the reason for Easter. There is no other meaning or reason for Easter than Jesus. So, why not enjoy these family days and revisit the concept of this celebration?

The blood of Jesus is the true symbol of Easter. Even before Israel’s exodus from Egypt, the Hebrew people believe that the first Passover is recorded in Genesis 18, when Abraham receives a visit from the Angel of the Lord. On that occasion, Abraham orders Sarah to prepare bread in a hurry and that her servant kill the best calf in the herd.

The Bible says that without bloodshed there is no forgiveness of sins. That is why the blood of Jesus is the sign to protect and save our families. Jesus’ blood did not dry up. He is alive, hot, red and strong to bless us!

The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you…

Exodus 12:13

And the way you enjoy that blessing, promised by the Lord, is by faith in agreeing with Jesus’ sacrifice. After reading the Word of the Lord, pray with your family, and declare in your words that the blood of Jesus is welcome over your home and over your entire family. Declare in faith the blood of Jesus on your family!

3- Obey instructions as an eternal order

The Lord’s promise is for a revolution in your family history. Therefore, faithfully obey what the Lord requires for Easter. Your marriage, your children, your finances, and everything will be blessed by the Lord if you apply the blood of Jesus in faith to your home.

This day shall be for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast.

Exodus 12:14

Each Easter in the Bible, celebrated according to the Lord’s command, results in an extraordinary blessing. Just as the Lord’s Passover requires faith, with a spiritual attitude and outside of human understanding, so the result is supernatural. Your part is just believing. And God will bless your family with something valuable, with unparalleled protection, with prosperity, with peace and joy.
